Rudolph “Bob” Cooper, age 88, of Attica, MI (formerly of Dryden, MI) died Saturday, May 4, 2019 after an extended illness at home in Attica, while surrounded by his loving family. Rudolph Robert Cooper was born May 30, 1930 in Pontiac, MI. He was the son of the late Lloyd and the late Nora (Burt) Cooper. Bob grew up in Oxford, MI. He was a graduate of Oxford High School, Class of 1948. Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korea War (1948-1954). He was stationed in Germany during the Berlin Air-Lift. He married Judith Desiree Kenyon on May 28, 1965 in Roseville, MI.

Bob was a master carpenter and a co-owner of Beaver Stair Company in Oxford, MI for 32 years; he retired in 1994. Bob and Judy attended St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Dryden, MI. He loved to golf, to care for his grand- children and great-grandchildren, woodworking and watching Tiger baseball. He played league softball all around the Thumb when he was younger. Family gatherings and pig roasts were an especially good time at the Dryden farm.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cooper; his daughters, Rose (Mike) Bachan of Troy, MI, Tracy Tait of North Branch, MI and Renee (Greg) Ficht of Macomb, MI; his son, Bob (Connie) Cooper of Dryden, MI; a son-in-law, Ken Goike of Ray Twp., MI; his sister, Doralene (Doug) Belau of Lapeer, MI; and brothers, Gary Cooper of Croswell, MI and Dean Cooper of Gaylord, MI. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Goike; his parents, Lloyd and Nora Cooper; a sister, Dixie Miller; and brothers, David Cooper and Bruce Cooper.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 8 at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 3834 N. Mill St., Dryden, MI. Reverend Father Mike Gawlowski will celebrate the Funeral Mass. The family will be available for visiting hours from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8 at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 3834 N. Mill St., Dryden, MI.

A final salute and flag presentation by the U.S. Air Force will take place after the Funeral Mass at St. Cornelius Catholic Church.
