Virginia “Ginny” Heidenreich, age 72, of Imlay City, MI, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital.

Virginia Louise Drouillard was born August 6, 1946 in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Drouillard and the late Helen (Chapman) Cesaro. Ginny grew up in Royal Oak. She was a 1964 graduate of Kimball High School. Ginny attended school at Michigan State University. She married Rudy F. Heidenreich August 21, 1965, in Royal Oak, MI. They lived in Sterling Heights for a few years before moving to Pennsylvania in 1973. In 1985 they moved back to Michigan and have lived in the Imlay City area.

She was employed by McLaren Medical Management for 23 years in the physician billing department before retiring.

Ginny was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Most of all, she loved her husband, sons, and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rudy Heidenreich; three sons, Todd Heidenreich of Montgomery Village, MD, Ryan Heidenreich of Lapeer, MI and Jesse (Renea) Heidenreich of Davison, MI; one sister, Beverly (Patrick) Chen of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; her three grandchildren, Cattibrie Heidenreich, Toby Heidenreich and Wyatt Heidenreich; niece, Lisa Lynn (Urs) Chen-Obrist; and her nephew, Tyson Chen.

Ginny was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Drouillard; mother, Helen (Joseph) Cesaro; and her grandparents, Ernest and Elsie Chapman.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Dr. Marcel Lamb, pastor of Imlay City United Methodist Church, will officiate.

The family will be available for visitation 2-6 p.m., Thursday, November 8 and 12-1 p.m., Friday, November 9 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
