Edward Z. Ulatowski, 94, of Dryden passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Brianís House in Davison. He was born August 8, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Zygmunt and Antoinette Ulatowski.

Ed married Veronica Wojciechowski in Philadelphia and she preceded him in death in 1984. Together they moved to their farm in Dryden in 1952 and Ed worked at Dairy Creamery as a milkman and farming his own ground. He later worked for Chrysler at the Sterling Plant where he retired in 1980. He had attended the Dryden Wesleyan Church. Ed was a wonderful father, he loved his family and he loved the Lord. His family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald (Sue) Ulatowski of Florida and Rick (Elda) Ulatowski of Dryden; three daughters, Lois (Terry) Woodcox of Dryden, Pearl (Ron) Stahlbuck of Gaylord and Dori (Marty) Lawrence of Dryden; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Elaine, Genevieve, Eugene, Richard and Lucy; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Edward, one grandson Michael and siblings Ida, Edís twin brother Ned, Donald, Irene, Virginia and Elsie.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont with Pastor James Olah of Life Fellowship Chapel, Davison officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dryden. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brianís House, 1515 Cal Dr., Davison, MI 48423. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.
