Marvin Allen Hake, age 54, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. He was born June 17, 1956 the son of Marvin Isaac & Helen Marion (Muir) Hake in Detroit.
He graduated from Holt High School in 1974. Allen married his wife Kim Marie Wood on December 5, 1981 in Lansing. He received his Associates Degree in Science from Everest Institute and he was working on his Digital Multimedia, Audio Video Cinematography degree at Lansing Community College. Allen was an accomplished professional musician and owned his own recording studio, TAL productions from 1985 to 1988. He also worked for Meridian Automotive in Quality Control and as an audio engineer for Stage and Sport Audio.
Allen leaves to mourn his loving wife Kim Hake of Lake Odessa; his children, Kallen (Tammy Friend) Hake of Woodland, Benjamin Hake of Grand Rapids, Alesheia Hake of Grand Rapids, Abraham Hake of Lake Odessa; step-grandchildren Skyler Friend and Kendra Friend, He is also survived by his sister Pam (Bob) Copeland of Houghton Lake; one nephew, Corey Hake of Lansing and one niece, Emily (Paul) Castle of Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Roth-Muir Funeral Home - Romeo. Donations can be made to the family. A service will be held in Lake Odessa at a later time.
