Ronnie Lane, 66, of Imlay City, previously of Madison Heights, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills.

Ronnie David Lane was born August 26, 1943 in Welch, West Virginia. He was the son of Aaron and Elizabeth Lane. He grew up in West Virginia. He married Suzanne Grochowski on August 12, 1977 in Sterling Heights.

He worked for Chrysler Motor Company at the Sterling Heights Stamping Plant for over 39 years. While at Chrysler, Ronnie was a hi-low driver and a drawman on the assembly line. Ronnie was a member of the Imlay City Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne of Imlay City;

sons, Jeremy (Erin) Lane of Lum, and Justin (Erica George) Lane of Imlay City;

granddaughter, Jazmyne Lane; brothers, Connie Lane, Harrison Lane, and Paul Lane; and sisters, Bonnie McDonald, Zona Davidson, Nora Rotenberry, Bethel Dotson and Shelia Zippiple.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Elizabeth Lane; siblings, Pearl Rotenberry, Edie Mae Peaks, Georgia Lane, Rosa Lane, William Lane, Amanda Lane, Dewey Lane, and Carl Lane.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Imlay City. Pastor Alan Casillas, pastor of St. Paulís Lutheran Church will officiate.
