Age: 75
Mrs. Betty J. Harvey, 75, of Vanderbilt, died at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey on April 13. Betty was born to Raymond and Eleanor (Watchowski) Pawloski on Aug. 11, 1934 in Carsonville.

Betty and her husband, Dallas were married 58 years, they raised their family in Capac and moved to Vanderbilt ten years ago.

Betty enjoyed many things, some of which were, horseback riding, baking cakes, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She loved playing bingo, and had a regular day planned that was “all about bingo.”

Betty was a Eucharistic minister at Holy Redeemer Church in Vanderbilt. She was also involved with volunteer work for the RSVP and the senior center, and was a past president for the Elkland Senior Center.

Surviving are her husband, Dallas of Vanderbilt, children, Barry (Lynne) Harvey of Vanderbilt and Pam Hill of Attica; daughter-in-law Debbie Hill of Imlay City; grandchildren, Trevor, Angie, Dawn, and Derrick, Samantha, Sarah; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Pawloski of Indian River, and sister Barbara

(Boyd) Bigelow of Washington, Michigan. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her son Tim Harvey. A memorial service will be held at Holy Redeemer Church in Vanderbilt, on Saturday, April 24, at 11a.m., Father David Dupuis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Church, through the Nelson Funeral Home, PO Box 1548, Gaylord MI 49734.
