Harry “Tiny’’ Forden, 60, of Imlay City passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at home.
Harry Gene Forden was born on July 13, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of William Alonzo and Evelyn Jean Woodall. He grew up in Imlay City. Tiny was a graduate of Imlay City High School class of 1968.
Tiny served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He married Margaret Ewalt on September 1, 1989 in Toledo, Ohio.
Tiny was a member of the Sea Bee Veterans of America and Cross Roads Baptist Church.
He was a professional truck driver for Champion Motor Homes delivering buses and he also was a truck driver for VeraCor Box and for Ray Martus in North Branch.
Tiny is survived by his wife, Margaret Forden of Imlay City; son, Rodney Alexander of Houghton Lake; daughter, Penny Lynn Beall of Imlay City; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; his mother, Evelyn Jean Woodall of Imlay City; brothers, Ron Woodall of Indianapolis, William Woodall of Brown City and Mike (Sue) Woodall of Lum; and sister, Mary Gast of Caro. He is preceded in death by his father, William Alonzo Woodall and a brother, Robert Woodall.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 11 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City. Pastor Don Krohn and Pastor Ken Renard will officiate. Burial will follow at Goodland Township Cemetery.
Friends may call Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City where the family will be available for visiting from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 10.
