Diane Lynn Adams, 59, of Capac, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 6, 2009, from her home with family by her side.

She was born March 15, 1950, in Port Huron, the daughter of Marcella (Hunt) Moak of Port Huron and the late Gordon Moak.

Her marriage to Dennis Adams was September 12, 1970, at the Blue Water Free Methodist Church, Port Huron.

Diane was a graduate of Port Huron High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Capac where she nurtured her strong faith with prayer and continued bible study. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and reading.

Diane also liked camping, hiking, bicycle riding, and traveling, including the couple’s 25th Wedding Anniversary cruise and their 30th anniversary trip to Hawaii. Of all the things she enjoyed, the love of her grandchildren and family was the greatest in her life.

Surviving in addition to Dennis and her mother are their three children, Jennifer and Jay Roff of WI, Dawn and Mark Davis of OH and Jeffrey and Kera Adams of Jeddo; grandchildren, Alexis, Chole and Nina Davis, Isabella, Ethan, Abigail and Aubrey Roff and soon to be born baby Adams; siblings, Bonnie (Ron) Baker, Judy Greene, Pat (Marv) Hardy, Connie (Larry) Burdick, Debbie (David) Hoag, Kathy (Jim) Owens, Joy (Clint) Whitman, Gordon (Terry) Moak, Terry Moak, Mike (Pat) Moak, Wayne (Tina) Moak; a brother-in-law, Rick Schnackenberg, brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene (Diane) Adams, Jim (Marie) Adams, Lois (Sam) Null, Tim (Cathy) Adams and Jerry Adams and many nieces and nephews.

A sister, Cherry Schnackenberg, stillborn twin brother, brother-in-law, Bill Durnion, and father-in-law, Eugene Adams, precede her in death.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. today (Wed., Nov. 11) with 10:00 a.m. visiting at First Baptist Church, Capac. Rev. Donald Reynolds, will officiate. Burial will be in West Berlin Cemetery, Berlin Twp.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Capac or Heartland Hospice, Marlette.

Funeral arrangements were made by Kaatz Funeral Directors Inc. in Capac.
