Jason A. McIvor, age 26, of Brown City died October 25, 2009.
He was born July 20, 1983 in Lapeer to Ross and Debbie McIvor.
Jason graduated from Brown City High School Class of 2002.
Jason worked for Holly Meadows Golf Course at both the bowling alley and on the greens. He also worked for McIvor Lawn care. He loved to bowl and won many awards and jackets. He was very proud of his most recent accomplishment of rolling the first “800 series” on the Holly Meadow lanes. He was a member of the PBA and was a director for the Mid-Thumb Bowling Association. He had been a bowling coach for Brown City High School Bowling Team for several years. He was also a member of the Cros-Lex Eagles Club.
Jason is survived by his parents Ross and Debbie McIvor, Brown City; two siblings, Shawn (John) Wheeler and Ross Jr. (Kristal) McIvor; grandparents Mary and Ron Zarko; aunts and uncles, Jeannie Maday, Rusty (Joanne) Wills, Angela Kartz, Teresa Allen, Dana (Jim) McPhail, Paul (Pat) McIvor, Richard (Debbie) McIvor; and 2 nieces Courtney and Danyale. He was preceded in death by grandpa Hank Wills, grandma and grandpa Don and Bessie McIvor, uncle Don McIvor and cousin Beth McIvor.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 29 at the Brown City Missionary Church.
