Lynn Morocco, 45, of Imlay City passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron.
Lynn Ann Feys was born on May 4, 1964 in Yale. She was the daughter of Rene and Helen Feys. Lynn grew up in Imlay City and was a Imlay City High School graduate class of 1982.
She married John Paul Morocco on September 19, 1998 in Dryden. Lynn earned her Business Degree from Davenport University Flint Campus. She was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Dryden. She taught catechism in Macomb. She worked in Family Care & Medical Records at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron.
Lynn is survived by her husband, John Morocco of Imlay City; daughter, Samantha Paige Morocco; sons, Kyle John Morocco and Matthew Rene Morocco; father, Rene Feys of Imlay City; brothers, Mark (Mara) Feys of Imlay City and Michael (Debra) Feys of Grand Rapids; great-grandmother, Velma Ferrett of Lapeer; and parents-in-laws, Henry and Joyce Morocco of Imlay City. She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen V. Feys in 2005.
Funeral service was held Monday at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Dryden. Father Wayne Ureel, pastor of St. Cornelius Catholic Church officiated. Burial followed at Imlay Township Cemetery in Imlay City.
Rosary service was held Sunday evening at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City.
