Nancy Lee Campbell, 69, of Dryden, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Nancy Lee Goline was born July 19, 1939 in Detroit. She was the daughter of Joseph and Isabelle Goline. She grew up in Detroit near City Airport. She was married to Robert Russell (Bob) Campbell on April 28, 1962 in Detroit. They have lived in the Dryden area since 1987.
Nancy had been very actively involved with the Casa Maria Ladies Guild; she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City; and of The Ladies of Peace in Imlay City. She was a homemaker. She loved to oil paint. She had numerous painted canvases of religious scenes, landscapes, and portraits. Nancy was also an Election Pole Official for Almont Township.
Surviving are her husband, Robert (Bob) Campbell of Dryden; sons, Steven Michael Campbell of Dryden and Eric Robert Campbell of Dryden; sister, Barbara (Julius) Pietras of Dryden; and sisters-in-law, Sarah Goline of Pennsylvania and Velma Goline of Florida. She was preceded in death by brothers, Sidney Goline, Carmine Goline, Charles Goline; and by infant sisters, Rachel Goline and Jacqueline Goline.
Funeral service took place Friday, July 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City. The Rev. Fr. Ezequiel Mondragon officiated. Burial followed in the Imlay Township Cemetery in Imlay City. A Special Rosary service was recited Thursday evening by the Ladies of Peace at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City.
