Willard James London, 71, of Mussey Township, died Sunday morning June 7, 2009 at St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron Hospital.

He was born Wednesday, September 1, 1937 in Royal Oak the son of the late Hazen and Minnie (Robinson) London.

His marriage to Blanche Wedlake was November 2, 1957 in Imlay City.

“Willie” was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church, Capac, and past member of Capac Lions Club. He was owner-operator of London’s Disposal of Capac for 40 years and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Surviving in addition to his wife Blanche of 52 years are a son Matthew James and daughter, Lynne Ann London both of Capac; grandsons, Leif and Nicholas Kowalewski; special nephew, Robert (Jana) Morgan of Hart; siblings, Rowena (Bill) Spencer of Brown City, George (Edna) London of Middleville, Laura (Phillip) Bryce of Brown City, Lois London of Las Vegas, NV, Alice (John) Raska of Capac and Ruth Middleton of Warren, OH; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by sons Mark and Christopher London.

His family honors the memory of Willard and invites you to attend funeral services at 11 a.m. today (Wed., June 10) at Kaatz Funeral Directors in Capac with 10 a.m. visiting. Rev. Dale Brown and Rev. Lisa Clark, pastors of Zion United Methodist Church, Capac, will co-officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Mussey Township.

Memorials are suggested to “Wishes of the Family.”
