Jonathan Assemany, 27, of Dryden, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his motherís home.

He was born June 19, 1981 in Livonia. He grew up in Rochester Hills. The family moved to Dryden. He attended Dryden High Schools. He was a graduate of Kettering High School in Waterford.

Jonathan had been employed by Royal Oak Boring Co. in Oxford. He was a CNC Machine Operator. He worked on heavy equipment engine parts. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dryden.

Surviving are his mother, Dawn Assemany-Convery of Dryden; father, William (Pamela) Assemany of Richmond; sister, Brenna Suzanne (Shane) Presnall of Floresville, TX; brother, Joseph William Convery of Metamora; stepbrothers, Joshua Pinch of Richmond and Jonathan Pinch of Richmond; grandparents, Edmond Assemany of West Bloomfield and Joe and Carol Convery of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a niece, Saffron Convery; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marilyn Jean Assemany.

Funeral service will be held 11a.m.Thursday, April 2, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City. Reverend Lynn Witt, Pastor of Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Imlay City will officiate. Friends may call at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, where the family will be available for visiting today (Wed., April 1) from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m.
