Edward A. Molzon, 90, was born February 28, 1918 to Adolph and Pauline Molzon. He passed away November 10, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.
He graduated from Imlay City High School in 1935. After that he joined the Army during World War II. After proudly serving his country he spent most of his life in construction. He was an excellent stonemason among a lot of other things.
His wife Anita of 40 years preceded him in death 15 years ago at the age of 71. He also had a sister, Elsie Whetter, who passed away earlier this year.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda and a son, Gregory, four grandchidlren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by an older brother, Art Molzon of Imlay City; a nephew, Harold Molzon also of Imlay City; a niece, Linda Lambert of Brighton; cousin, Archie Felt of North Carolina; and a very special friend, Esther Kuhn of Howell.
He loved to hunt and fish and belonged to the Moose Lodge, Eagles Club, Multi Lakes Conservation Club, American Legion and the D.A.V.
He will be greatly missed by all of us!
A memorial service will be held at the Imlay Township Cemetery next spring.
