Addison Sue Wetherford

Addison Sue Wetherford, age 15 months, of Lapeer, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2008 after a lifelong illness, while at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.

Addison was born April 5, 2007 in Port Huron. She was a daughter of Scott and Nicole (Bissett) Wetherford, Jr.

Surviving are her parents, Scott and Nicole Wetherford, Jr. of Lapeer; brother, Jacob; sister, Shelby; grandparents, Karen (Tom Germayne) Bissett of Brown City, Scott Wetherford, Sr. of Attica, and Joann Wetherford of Lake Orion; great-grandparents, Dale and Phyllis Bissett of Brown City; great-great-grandmother, Eva McNary of Marlette; aunts and uncles, Justin Bissett of Brown City, Lisa Clayton of Tenn., and Bradley (Lisa) Wetherford of North Branch; also surviving are several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Addison was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bruce Bissett.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 21, at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City. The Reverend Kevin Harbin, Pastor of the Imlay City United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Attica Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Imlay City where the family will be available for visiting from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today (Wed., Aug. 20).
