Walter Faulds, 70, of Dryden, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 7, 2008 at his home.
He was born December 25, 1937 in Almont. He was the son of Harry and Harriet (Hogle) Faulds. He lived most all of his life in the Dryden area.
Walter graduated from Dryden High School. He served in the U.S. Army between 1959-1963.
He was married to Evelyn Delong on August 9, 1958 in Dryden. Evelyn died on September 3, 2007. He was a member of the Dryden Vets.
Walter had been a lift truck driver with Champion Motors in Dryden. He was also a tool and die maker in Troy. Currently Walter was employed as a delivery person for Tool Sharpening Co. in Romeo and Dryden.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; brothers, Art Faulds and Earl Faulds; sister, Shirley Bock; and his parents.
A veterans salute was held Sunday evening.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 11 at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City. The Reverend Sue Rich, pastor of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Dryden officiated. Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dryden.
