Richard “Dick” Miller, 76, of Mussey Township, died Friday evening September 28, 2007 at home.
He was born November 16, 1930 in Vincennes, IN, the son of the late Earl and Dora Martin Miller.
His marriage to Janet Loisel was July 7, 1951 in Detroit.
Dick served his country with the United States Army from 1948-1949.
He was employed as a finish carpenter/stage builder for the Local #337 of Detroit and later owned and operated a graphics design business in Capac and Imlay City for 20 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife Janet of 56 years are a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Trudy Miller of Warren and daughter Linda Grabowski of N.C.; 2 granddaughters Erica Miller and Naomi Grabowski and several nieces, nephews and friends. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services with military honors were held Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac. Fr. Wayne Ureel, pastor of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Capac, officiated.
