Karyn Chippewa, 60, of Brown City, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at her home.
She was born August 3, 1946 in Midland. She was the daughter of Raymond and Kathryn Reid. She grew up in Midland and later moved to Detroit.
She graduated from high school in Detroit in 1964. She had lived the last 8 years in the Brown City area.
Karyn liked to crochet. She enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and “Elvis.’’ She attended North Goodland Baptist Church in Imlay City.
Surviving are three sons, Raymond Chippewa of Bellevue, John (Sandra) Chippewa of Lapeer and Michael Chippewa of Lapeer; one grandson, Anthony Chippewa; and a very close friend, Brian Zakrzewski of Ferndale.
Funeral service was held Friday, July 6 at North Goodland Baptist Church, Imlay City. Pastor Tom Blount officiated.
