Lois Wheeler Kaiser, 90, of Tallahassee, Florida, previously of Capac, passed away May 5, 2007 in Tallahassee.
Lois I. Graybiel was born in Capac on November 27, 1916. She was the daughter of Irving and Hazel (Cook) Graybiel.
She married Louis Alva Wheeler. Louis died in 1944 during World War II. She worked for the Capac Bank and the school system as a secretary.
Lois was a member of Capac First United Methodist Church. She was active in the Girl Scouts, a member of the Capac Eastern Star, a member of Capac Lion’s Club, and a volunteer at Naples, Florida Hospital.
Lois is survived by a son, Lester (Carolyn) Wheeler of Havana, Florida; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wheeler; sister, Velma Hull; and brothers, Max Graybiel and Allen Graybiel.
There will be a graveside memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Imlay Township Cemetery. Pastor Willard King will officiate.
Funeral arrangements were made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City.
