Food baskets delivered thanks to volunteers, donors

To the Editor:

The Boy Scout Food Basket Program once again with the help of the Lions, American Legion, Rotary Club of Imlay City, American Legion Auxiliary, the Society of Faith, Hope & Charity, Bryan's Market and individuals of the community were able to pack and deliver 81 food baskets to people in need in the Imlay City School District on Dec. 19.

The weather was cold but with the use of four wheel drive vehicles they were all delivered in a timely manner. The donations of food from the middle and high school added to the groceries that were in each box. Cub Scouts also stood out for donations on Saturday to help this project.

Thanks again everyone for keeping this project successful for over 40 years.
