Softballers make pitch

To the Editor:

The Imlay City Sparks 14U Girls Fast Pitch Competitive Softball Team would like to thank everyone who made our Bowling Fundraiser, held Friday, November 19 at Hideaway Lanes in Almont a huge success!

We had the support of many businesses that sponsored our lanes and made very generous donations of merchandise for our silent auction. A heartfelt thank you goes to Andrews Hitting Lessons, Dimmer's, CC's Cyber Café, Cedar Lanes, Lori Lillie of Jewel Kade, Gem & Diamond, Imlay City Band Boosters, Country Smoke House, Angie Gleason of 31, Nacho's, Imlay City Monuments, Chris Wagner of Churchill Insurance Agency, Hillis Construction, Village Chiropractic of Romeo, Todd's Glass, United Automotive, Smoker's Palace and of course Hideaway Lanes for hosting our event. We are also very grateful to Mary King, The McKillop Family, Albert & Rosario Rodriguez, Hector Campos, The Nelson Family and The Andrews Family for sponsoring lanes, not to mention the many families who also donated extravagant gift baskets and other items!

Our team could not function without fundraising, and this fundraiser could not have happened without the support of all of the parents, family members and friends who came out and bowled, bid on silent auctions and participated in our raffles.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in every way! We could not have done it without you!

Sincerely,

—Imlay City Sparks 14U
