Capac Fest had help

To the Editor:

The Capac Chamber would like to express its sincere gratitude to the following who extended a helping hand towards this year's Capac Fall Festival.

Generous donations of money were given by Keihin Michigan Manufacturing LLC, Greg McConnell-State Farm Insurance, Scott Shelton-Capac Pharmacy, Dr. Todd Grubb-Capac Chiropractic, Our Lady of Guadalupe-St. Nicholas Catholic Church, John Hollenbeck-Holly Meadows, Mike Pirrone Produce Inc., McDonald's of Capac, Hunters Crossing, Sunrise Convenience Stores, and CSB Bank, all who made it possible for us to enjoy the beautiful fireworks this year.

A special thank you to the following who helped the festival function successfully this year: The Village of Capac, Capac Police Dept., Capac Fire Dept., JJ Disposable, Michigan State Police, Carl Scholz, Connie and John Masi of Zion United Methodist Church for the children's chalk drawing contest, Mark Klug of Spiffy Klean Auto & Truck Detailing for the Outhouse Races, Terry Burns of Doodling Outback Embroidery and Cub Scout Pack 200 for the great job of decorating the scarecrows around town and the Treasure Hunt, Schools Supt. Jerry Jennex and the Capac School District for all their help with the 2010 Miss Capac award ceremony.

Thank you to the Capac Chamber members who gave of their time to make the festival a success. Without the financial support and help of the volunteers, the festival would not have been a success.

Sincerely,

—Sally Cornell
