Attica United Methodist Church will open its doors from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, September 27 to resume our regular schedule for our food assistance program for township residents.
The Attica Food Bank provides supplemental food assistance to those in need who live in Attica Township. Documentation showing township residency is required. Guests are asked to also bring documentation (social security card, report card) showing the number of people living in their household and any other financial documentation (pay stub, etc.) that helps verifies need. The Attica Food Bank will serve township residents who have a Bridge Card, those who are over the age of 65 and those with vouchers from Love, INC.
The Attica Food Bank is a program hosted by Attica United Methodist and supported through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. All donations to the Attica Food Bank go toward the purchase of food. For every dollar donated, Attica Food Bank is able to purchase $14 worth of food from the Eastern Michigan Food Bank.
