Armstrong deserves to be circuit court judge

To the Editor:

In order to be effective, a circuit judge must have a feel of the pulse of the community. This can only be garnered from personal contact. Only Mona Armstrong, Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney has that coveted experience.

After 15 years of handling the county's most serious and violent crimes with nary a defeat, she has handedly cleared our streets of the vilest of criminals. As a judge, Mona Armstrong will raise the level of justice to all that come before her. The dedication to judicial perfection she has already set is a mark of excellence that few have ever met or will attain.

Whether the case is criminal or civil, Mona has the capacity and tenacity to render decisions. She can think on her feet, under pressure, and know case law to stop frivolous motions dead in their tracks.

Mona Armstrong contributed to the judicial benchbook on criminal sexual conduct and lectured other prosecuting attorneys and judges on evidence and procedure, to further protect present and prevent future victims. Mona has won every murder case she has tried. No one has tried as many as she in this county.

Mona Armstrong is the only candidate for circuit court who possesses the aptitude, ability, attitude, wrapped in experience, to make decisions that hold the lives of so many in the balance.

Vote for Mona Armstrong.

Respectfully,

—Doug Hunter
