Fallen heroes’ families need your support

To the Editor:

We need a few more caring and concerned Lapeer County citizens to become members of the 100 Club of Flint so that our Lapeer County Police officers and Firefighters' families will be supported in the event of a tragedy.

Currently, when a Genesee or Shiawasee county law enforcement officer or firefighter dies in the line of duty, the 100 Club of Flint provides immediate and ongoing financial and other professional assistance to surviving families of the fallen hero who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us.

Hundreds of Flint area men and women are making a difference in their communities and are making this benefit available to our officers and firefighters simply by having a handful of Lapeer area citizens join their membership. If interested please contact me or any Lapeer area Police or Fire Chief or go to www.100clubofflint.org for more details.

Thank you for your consideration,
