Support for candidates

To the Editor:

The Capac School District will be electing two board members on Tues., May 4. The purpose of this letter is to recommend two outstanding candidates: Dale Stuever and Dwayne Loper.

Dale Stuever is a lifetime resident of Capac and a graduate of the Capac School system. Mr. Stuever attended Michigan State University and has served on the Capac School Board for 18 years. He is known to most Capac residents as a very devoted community member and has donated countless hours of volunteer time working on the Capac athletic fields and the Capac agricultural programs. As a school board member, Dale has brought a balanced judgment to the board as well as a wealth of experience from his career as a local businessman. It is no understatement to say that Dale Stuever is well respected in the Capac community.

Dwayne Loper has lived with his wife and two children in Capac since 1996. Mr. Loper has also served the community in a number of different ways. He has coached in the Capac Youth Baseball League and served on Capac's Youth Sports Committee. He has served as the commissioner of the Capac Warriors youth football program and is employed as a Water Treatment Plant Operator with the Township of East China. Mr. Loper has a long history of service to his community and would make a tremendous impact on the Capac School Board.

Both of these candidates have earned the respect and endorsement of the Capac community. I urge you to vote on Tues., May 4 for Dale Stuever and Dwayne Loper.
