Editor's note: The following letters were written by Capac High School students in Janet Shurat's 10th grade English class.
To the Editor:
In February of 2010 Capac changed the Snowcoming apparel dress code. They went formal to casual for various reasons: some parents could not afford new clothing for their kids because they were either laid off or just don't work, and also because students have been dressing very wrong.
Being in high school, students think that it is okay to wear whatever they want, or wear short dresses or low cut shirts. I strongly agree that high schools should be stopping all the negative dressing and those students should take care of their body and not expose it out to everyone.
