Tiger aces interviews

To the Editor:

In response to an article I read on ESPN.com about Tiger Woods' February 18 news conference, his critics say it is going to waste everyone's time. Jemele Hill says that it will make the media even more adamant in its attempts to expose Woods as a fraud.

I believe that Tiger's news conference is a good idea because it will help Tiger move along and let people (media) know what is going on with him. Plus I think it will help Tiger go on and make progress in his life and make him feel a little better about himself to get it off his chest. I also believe that Tiger does not owe the media anything and he does not have to give a news conference where the media asks questions.

Now that the conference is over, I think Tiger did a great job and so does the media. I have heard lots of people say that he sounded very sincere in his apologies and was convincing about improving his life.

Sincerely,

—Miles Stanis
