To the Editor:
On Feb. 13, Delta Airlines passengers' traveling bags were returned to them soaked in jet fuel. It took a few days for the airlines to acknowledge their mistake. The company did apologize and did their best to compensate the passengers.
I believe that the airlines should not have let those bags aboard that airplane because if one spark had gone off then the whole plane could have blown up and the Delta Airlines company would have to pay a lot of fines for their deaths.
All in all, the entire situation worked itself out and the passengers got their money back from their ruined luggage, but I still believe the danger of the jet fuel soaked luggage was completely uncalled for and was a big mistake of Delta Airlines.
