To the Editor:
According to an article on Foxnews.com (Feb. 18) k2 is being sold in headshops as incense. But, it is being treated with a chemical that has the effects that are similar to THC.
I think that it is wrong and very inappropriate and not necessary. Marijuana is not addicting and that has been proven before. Furthermore, I would like to see this toxic waste taken off every headshop shelf in America because it is hurting our families.
What should be done is every person that buys this k2 junk should get a brochure on how it affects the body. We can all help each other by not buying this and putting our money into things that will help our country like putting the money toward rehabs and homeless centers.

Editor's note: THC is a substance found in marijuana. k2 is a herbal mixture sold as potpourri or incense. Published reports indicate some teens have experienced adverse affects after smoking it.
