These kids no monsters

To the Editor:

Since teenagers are not always portrayed as "good" kids, we thought we would share our experience with you.

Our granddaughter approached us with the request to use our home for play practice for the drama class at Imlay City High School. We were a little hesitant because we didn't know many in the cast, and you know what they say about teenagers.

What a pleasant surprise. They were the nicest bunch of kids—all were friendly, very respectful and courteous. Every one of them thanked us upon leaving. They left everything just the way they found it. They even had the empty pop bottles lined up evenly on the counter. And guess what—all their trash was in the container!!

We attended the play 'Monster in the Closet' on Jan. 19 and they did a super job. You could tell they have the same respect for their teacher, Mrs. Stacey Abromaitis.

Great job, kids. Your parents can be proud.
