Chamber events big hits

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce I would like to thank the many businesses who helped to make the annual Chamber Lights Parade and Dinner Dance a success.

A special thank you goes to the promotions committee, Amy Planck, Kim Jorgensen, Gwynn Hintz, Katy Turner, LuAnn Valdez, Mary Schroeder, Nancy Jean Brinker, Yvonne Wilson, and Kim Marrone.

The dinner dance was a huge success! It was an evening of fun and dancing. A special thanks to 82nd District House State Rep. Kevin Daley and Imlay City Mayor Rodney Warner for announcing the recipients of two of our prestigious awards.

Congratulations to our Citizen of the Year winner Kim Jorgensen, Merit Award Winner Niche Line Builders, and the Service Club Award recipients Julie Salsido and Walt Bargen, co-chairs of Blueberry Festival Committee.
