The November 4th issue of the Tri-City Times featured an article about the services that St. Paul's Lutheran Church is offering the community. They are doing a fine job.
But I would like to remind people, businesses and organizations that the Imlay City Community Food Pantry is still servicing families in need in our area. The Community Pantry was established by the Ministerial Association 20 years ago. It is housed at the First Congregational Church UCC and is open on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. The pantry is operated by the Society of Hope and Charity and various volunteers.
My purpose in writing is to remind everyone that the Imlay City Community Food Pantry still needs your support of non-perishable food, health needs and money. If you have any questions or wish to make a donation, please contact the church office at 724-6207 either Monday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon.
