The Paul and Debra Camire family of Capac is welcoming a new "daughter" for the 2009 academic school year. Louise Jacqueline Mar Holtzem, a Youth for Understanding USA exchange student from Belgium will join the family and will attend Capac High School.
Eager to join her host family and become immersed in the Capac community, Louise will live as a true member of the Camire family, participating in social activities and events, vacations, and daily household chores. In turn, she will also share the culture and customs of Belgium-Dutch with her host family, friends and fellow classmates.
More than 2,000 American families open their homes and hearts to YFU international students each year. With 65 offices around the globe, Youth for Understanding is one of the world's oldest, largest and most respected international exchange programs. Since 1951, YFU has facilitated more than 240,000 student exchanges across the globe in its mission to prepare young people for the responsibilities and opportunities in a changing, interdependent world.
