The Red Cross Blood Drive held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on Monday was a success. Our goal from the Red Cross was for 31 pints. We had 40 donors who came to help and we ended up with 35 pints of blood.
Many thanks to all those that helped: Ladies who made food for the Red Cross workers, and Monica Herrerra (8th grader) and other ladies who worked the canteen.
I could never have done it alone and I appreciate all the help. We also appreciate all the Tri-City Times does in getting news of the Blood Drives out to the public. A great newspaper for our area!!
