Brozowski deserves to remain as Emmett Twp. supervisor
To the Editor:
I urge the people of Emmett Township not to sign the petition to recall Supervisor Pat Brozowski. We already have a very capable township board. Carrie Kot is doing an excellent job as treasurer, Bev Brown is doing a good job learning her role as clerk and the two trustees, Dawn Cowhy and Sandy Reliford, are very capable in their positions.
As for Pat Brozowski, no one and I mean no one, has more experience in both county and township government. She has served as county commissioner and thirteen years as township clerk. She was highly instrumental in getting local carpenters to assist in the building of the township hall, arranged meals for the workers, ordered lumber etc. and helped in getting state approval for the plans drawn up. All this meant a $25,000 savings to the taxpayers of Emmett Township.
Pat was also helpful in getting a $100,000 grant from the St.Clair County Road Commission to rebuild Bryce Road. Without that grant, the road would never have been built.
With anyone that capable, who could ask for anything more?
I am asking you again, do not sign a petition to recall. Being a special township election, it will be at the taxpayers' expense. This is an unnecessary expense for the township.
Pat needs to stay in her job to lead our township into the future.
