Thanks to the students of Bishop Kelley Catholic School, children across Lapeer County will receive free books whenever they attend Family Literacy Center programs.
The students held a book drive and brought in 628 books to donate to the Family Literacy Center. They did a great job. Their active help ensures that there are books in Lapeer County homes for children who want to read for fun. Sharing well-loved books is a great thing to do. We appreciate their effort to collect books.
Since 1980, the Family Literacy Center has helped Lapeer County families reach important literacy goals For more information about our programs visit our Web site at www.readlapeer.org or call us at 810-664-2737.
