Being humbly grateful is a skill that I have not utilized enough in my lifetime. Perhaps the reason was that I have such a great need for it all at once that the Lord decided that it should be accumulated for just this purpose.
The gifts, the infinite number of cards and the expressions of sympathy from all over the U.S. and Canada have eased our tragedy to a point that makes enduring possible.
The Bacholzky family, my son-in-law Craig and myself wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the sympathetic encouragement that we received at a time when it was most needed. 'Boots,' though blind, still had the cards of inspiration read to her. Her courage and bravery during this period remains unmatched with any human experience I have ever witnessed.
Thanks one and all for your extreme display of kindness and compassion during our recent bereavement.
