I was carried away by Catherine Minolli's beautiful 'Italian legacy' column in last week's paper. How wonderful that she treasures and wonders of the lives of those long ago.
I can see in my mind that marvelous porcelain table, long used by the first Caterina and the surface so worn by the kneading of great Italian bread. It brings back memories of my dear Italian aunt, who also was kneading bread, often at my table. Thank you for a touching column.
