The winner of the St. Clair County Sheriff's race must be prepared to keep us safe in spite of our country's economic crisis. I believe Tim Wiley has the right background, good judgment and community philosophy to provide exceptional policing services even as we ride out this economic storm.
Wiley's public service record is impressive. He was an Anchor Bay School Board trustee at age 19, where he was part of a highly successful multi-million dollar buildings project. He has been a teacher, patrolman and detective. Wiley is a respected community leader with a reputation for professionalism and successful cooperative teamwork.
Wiley has laid out a clear plan of action to improve the services at the sheriff's department, while his opponent's message has been one of "stay the course."
Our communities need change, and the sheriff's department is no exception. Tim Wiley will bring the leadership change we need to give us the policing services all taxpayers deserve.
