Good service deserves acknowledgment


Dear Editor,

Two or three times this summer, I've "threatened" to write a scathing letter about poor service we've experienced. Of course I didn't, choosing instead to fume in silence and pledge to just boycott the offenders.

But this week we were blessed with such exceptionally GOOD service by a local company that I'm not willing to let it go unacknowledged.

After waiting all summer for a natural gas line to finally reach our property, we were in need of someone to hook us up to the gas line and to convert our appliances and furnace from propane.

We called Holdwick's Heating and Cooling in Attica. Their estimate was fair and the time frame for doing the work was reasonable.

Mike and Joe arrived on time, came with the proper tools and expertise. The two worked together with precision and companionship. They respected our property and cleaned up after they were finished.

Of course, professionalism should be the standard, not the exception, but our experiences lately have proved otherwise. I'm glad we met Mike and Joe from Holdwick's. They've restored our faith in the service industry.
