Suncrest support valued

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Suncrest residents and their families, we thank the Lapeer County voters who supported the Suncrest millage renewal.

Thanks also to the Suncrest Master Gardeners for their phenomenal help; the generous Blue Tiger Democrats; VFW veterans and Young Marines; the Red Hat Ladies; Candy the Clown; all clubs, service organizations and governmental units that scheduled time for informational speakers; and the magnificent Suncrest staff.

We also thank all who permitted yard signs to be placed at their home and businesses; the individual effort made by the Volunteer Millage Committee; and monetary donors.

We were heartened by the visible support of political candidates themselves seeking office; the moving letters written by family members of residents; the comprehensive, accurate news articles and moving editorials and radio accounts in support of the millage.

We thank each of you who quietly put in a good word for Suncrest. All of you have earned our deepest gratitude. Such an outpouring of support sustains and encourages us to meet your fondest expectations for the care of, and devotion to the residents.
