People, not countries warring


Dear Editor,

To say the U.S. went to war in Iraq, or Israel went to war in Lebanon, or Russia went to war in Afghanistan, or the UN went to war in Rwanda, or China went to war in Tibet, or England went to war in Africa, exemplifies the greatest scam in mankind's history.

In reality, no state, country, social or political entity ever goes to war. Never.

"What" goes to war is a very wealthy and powerful individual, or clique, who hopes to gain even greater wealth and power. Period.

Often it's a czar, dictator or banker. Sometimes it's three or four wealthy individuals joining together for economic advantage. Other times it's a cabal; or hundreds of corporate autocrats around the world. But at core it's always an individual with a name, regardless of which side of a war he's on.

At least Genghis Khan used his own name.

"Placing responsibility for a war on a state or country is a scam, designed to mislead all of us."

The sooner we paint this reality in big letters on the backdrop of the world's stage, the better we'll be able to evaluate the morality of each little skit.
