‘Sanctuary’ administrator grateful for help

Dear Editor,

I would like to take a moment to thank a few of the local companies who so generously offer their ongoing support to the seniors of Sanctuary at Maple Vista.

First I would like to thank SVS Vision for their wonderful referral program. For every client that shops there and mentions Sanctuary at Maple Vista at checkout, SVS makes a monetary donation. Those donations allow us to discount the rental rates of residents in need. What a blessing!

Secondly, we are grateful to Sav-On Drugs who so kindly hire a bus to take our residents shopping every weekend. It is incredibly important to our populace to maintain their independence and Sav-On's assistance aids them in that greatly!

Next, thank you to Beth and Sharon at Creations Floral. They donate a corsage or boutonniere to each resident on their birthday. This is a considerate and kind thing to do for members of our community and they work hard to make them perfect for each person.

I would like to thank Muir Brothers for ordering multiple magazine subscriptions for our community each year. They carefully choose a wide variety of publications that reflect the diverse interests of our residents. Thanks to them, there is always something entertaining on hand to read.

Finally, I would like to thank Wellness Home Care. Every week they check blood pressures and lead exercise classes for residents and visiting seniors. They sponsor musical entertainment for some of our big events and occasionally they host parties for our residents as well! They are yet another business that truly gives back to the community.

We are so grateful for the help these companies provide to the family at Sanctuary at Maple Vista. God Bless them all.
