Lapeer County Habitat invites families to open house April 29
Home ownership seems like an impossible dream to many, but with help from Lapeer County Habitat for Humanity, that dream could be one meeting away from reality.
A home ownership open house is being conducted on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at St. Patrick's Chapel, 9851 Main Street, Clifford, MI 48727. This event will feature volunteers who will discuss the qualifying requirements for families to be selected to purchase a Habitat home in Lapeer County. Information about how the houses will be built and how the families participate in the process will also be presented that evening.
Habitat for Humanity is hoping to find their newest partner family for a new home being built in Clifford this June. Lapeer County Habitat for Humanity is proud of how the community has responded with their time, talent and resources to construct houses for three deserving families, since starting the affiliate chapter in Lapeer County. Now it is time to find another such family. For further information about the meeting, or to request an application packet, call the Lapeer County Habitat for Humanity office at 810-664-7111.
