Historical Commission welcomes new ideas

Dear Editor,

There is always something happening at the Imlay City Historical Museum. For example, the board is in the midst of its strategic planning process. Before the new year began the board spent two meetings brainstorming ideas about what the Historical Commission could do. This process will continue, and we hope all will benefit from a fuller understanding of what the commission does and what we would like to do.

The commission thanks the community and their members for past support, which makes the educational activities and projects possible.

If you would like to add your support to this important community resource, you may do so with a yearly membership of $15 per person or $20 per couple. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $40.

For more information contact Board Secretary Marilyn Swihart at 724-1904 or write to the Imlay City Historical Commission Inc., 77 Main St., Imlay City, MI 48444.

The Imlay City Historical Commission is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
