The Almont Ash Sifters were recent recipients of a grant from the Four County Community Foundation.
Four County Community Foundation is a nonprofit, community organization created by and for the people of the Four County Area of Michigan. The foundation serves portions of Macomb, Oakland, Lapeer and St. Clair counties. The foundation offers grants to nonprofit organizations and programs operating in our service area, as well as scholarships to individuals.
The Almont Ash Sifters are made up of the members of the Almont Fire Department. Their purpose is to supply the Almont Fire Department with training equipment.
The grant was for the purchase of computer training equipment. It consisted of a laptop computer with case, a projector with case and a large screen.
The Ash Sifters plan to use the equipment for training purposes along with helping them out in their Fire Prevention Program at the elementary school.
The Almont Ash Sifters and the Almont Fire Department would like to thank the Four County Community Foundation for their continued support. We would also like encourage other nonprofit organizations and groups to explore the Four County Communtiy Foundation grant possibilities.
