Library district thanks voters for millage support
The staff and Board of Directors of the Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library wish to thank the voters of your library district—Imlay City, Imlay Township and Attica Township—for their support in the recent millage election.
Hard work by members of Friends of the Library, many patrons and supporters everywhere helped convince the community that libraries are critical to the well-being of any community and that if this millage had failed, there was a very strong chance that the library would have ceased operation by the end of December.
The passage of this millage will enable our library to continue to deliver and even expand its services.
If you have not been in the library recently, come on in and look around. You'll be made proud.
