IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City varsity volleyball team fell by a 19-25, 18-25, 20-25 count to visiting Armada in a Blue Water Area Conference matchup last Thursday.
Ashley Dockham and Bailey Schaller led Imlay City with six service points apiece. They were backed by Kelly Pollard (four points), Alivia Hibbler (three), Kayla Schocke (two) along with Autumn Chambers, Emily Job and Jessica Medaugh (one each).
Schaller handled the bulk of Imlay City's playmaking responsibilities, accumulating 18 assists.
Chambers (six) and Iris Uribe (four) notched the top Imlay City kill outputs. Dockham and Schaller (two kills apiece) plus Jennifer Jerzewski, Medaugh and Job (one each) supported their performances.
Pollard (eight) posted the highest Imlay City dig totals. Their remaining digs went to Hibbler (six), Job and Schaller (five apiece), Medaugh and Uribe (four each), Chandler Katkic (two) along with Chambers and Jerzewski (one apiece).
Imlay City also received a solo block each courtesy of Jerzewski and Uribe.
