CAPAC — A team consisting of Greg Rahn, Dave Fisher and Joe DeLong shot a 10-under-par 62 output to earn the distinction of Men's Division champions last Saturday at The First Annual Sally McGeorge Memorial Golf Tournament.
Holly Meadows Golf Course is where the action unfolded.
"We had a turnout of 40 teams which is pretty good for a first-year event," Doug McGeorge, Sally's husband, said. "You couldn't have asked for a better day to golf," he noted.

"I would like to everyone who turned out today and Holly Meadows for hosting the event. We plan to have it again next year."
A threesome featuring Jerry Hiller, Ryan Sly and Brad Standfest; a team comprised of Anton Rank, Jeff Benick and Gary Clark; and a threesome featuring Don McConnell, Greg McConnell and Jeff McConnell shared second place in the Men's Division that day. They managed 9-under-par 63 totals.
In the Women's Division, a team consisting of Kathy Brennan, Connie Hiller and Carol Bellow set the pace with a 7-under-par 65 output.
A threesome consisting of Dixie Knappins, Louann Hurley and Sheryl Cribbins claimed second. They posted a 1-under-par 71 total en route.
Joe Bissett, Cec Bissett and Stan Sempf rounded out the list of champions that day. The threesome shot an 11-under-par 61 output on the way to a top Mixed Division finish.
Rose Lawson, Matt Wright and Vincente Sanson attained runnerup status, thanks to a 10-under-par 62 total.
Janet Hollenbeck, John Hollenbeck and Al Boadway also excelled. The threesome fired a 7-under-par 65 output, good enough for third place.
